Thanks....along with the A.D.D constantly side-tracking me.....I'm following member's advice by trying to get the safety issues/mechanical in order first. I've ordered the spacers and may as well finish covering/installing the seats (which I have been dodging for a while )
LOL...I could expect "marking territory" from my Harley.....those were the only two fluid hoses that I didn't replace

Well..............the PTSD wants to "be in charge for a while"...so I'll call the month of March "a wash"!
To review......By the time I parked the car after the 1st test-drive, things were leaning---both wheel struts relaxed from not having the bushing caps installed.........
Since I'm not able to stay focused on anything, I'm going to re-set the camber on both rear wheels (the correct way this time) so the car can be driven in/out of the garage (which is covered with tools/needs a good cleaning).
Maybe by April my b-r-a-i-n will be back in working order!

Well....it's a week into April---going on 5 weeks....maybe I'm over the "hump"......still too early to be sure
Why, I might even work up enough incentive to actually crank the engine and charge the battery....
:
...or at least connect the battery charger.

Thanks for cheering me up, Men. I cranked it a couple hours ago....the battery was strong enough to "re-prime" the carb.

Looking good, I have been doing similar things to a 1970 428 CJ Mustang. Seeing your progress reminds me I haven't gained in any in over a year and a half. I need to get back out there and finish her.

Thanks Men.......as soon as I get up the courage I'll get a video of the Harley mufflers "turned on"......
Until then.....just imagine four Harleys backed up around you idling at 700 rpm with no baffles in the mufflers
(I will have to make a trip to the Harley shop for a pair of baffles in order for the car to pass the mandatory State "Safety" Inspection )

While I'm wading through my PTSD blind-stupor, I saw this at a local Wendy's fast-food location.
It's rare to see anything older than 2001 during the week (and on most weekends)..........
It looked clean/shiny/no nicks or bruises......
It makes me want to get through this latest PTSD slump!!!!!!!!!!

Subscribed! I am watching several threads, all of which many of you have pointed me towards. This will really help me when I get started on my "Basket Case".

A quick summary: I found a '68 convertible that was either going to be parted-out or bought by a fool who wanted to save it by doing all the repairs himself and using the saved cash for items that would improve safety and reliability. Then the A.D.D. kicked in and the engine compartment got an experimental bionic C.A.I. system which will be improved when the rest of the car is completed.
Said fool is currently "down-in-the-dumps" and trying to climb out of the depression-hole shown in the television commercial.
So......sit back.....read up.....have a few laughs!!!!!!
(I am trying to maintain a sense of humor to balance out the D'pression)

Get out and smell spring, I stood out in the rain and just took in the smell. Rain smells so much better than snow. I know it sucks it is so easy to just sit and do nothing but get up and do anything does not matter what.
Talking about depression My 69 that I wanted on the road this spring will not be ready until next spring with all the body work that I need to do, I cannot afford to have it done by someone else. I have so much filler on the tail that they took the curves out.

Yeah the other day instead of looking at everything I have done I took a reality check and realized what the h--l did I do. Man there is a long way to go and the work on the body underneath will not be fun, engine, interior, I got a headache now.
