I stopped by to say the PTSD is hitting hard at me again. I'll do my best to finish up some loose ends on the car before bringing it to the painter to have the back half painted.

Over and out.

Don't rush to the painter to try to save downtime. Every day go to the car and look for stuff you wanna fix before the painter immortalizes it...

Those are Words to live by Guys.....thanks. I've been looking at the car and found a couple more things to correct. Like you all said....do it now so I don't scratch the new paint.

Just four weeks ago my Doctor wrote me a prescription for Clonazepam, two tablets per diem. I can't tell you what a difference it's made, it's honestly saved my life ! !

I'm also taking Trazodone and Trintellix, but they had begun to lose their effect, Clonazepam has made all the difference, I'm able to function normally once again and honestly have begun to enjoy life once again, at least more so than before.

I REALLY hope that you can find something that will work and will work well. I hate to have to resort to these drugs, but nothing else helped me and I was very often much too close to ending things. Now . . . a VERY different landscape.

ALL of the VERY best to you ! ! ! ! !

Thanks T.E. I just discovered my generic V.A. PTSD med is slowly destroying me.......but it's all in fun. I'll see my Doc Monday now that I'm sure of the problem.
I'm amazed how this "stuff" sneaks up on a person. The V.A. must get it's meds from the lowest bidder because the "new batch" they sent me looks nothing like the original tablets......Go figure.

And all this month I was blaming it on my wife's cooking

I did a little more "piddling" on the car today.......installing drain tubes to replace/modify existing rubber hoses and cracked-leaking channel drains...........

Since I extended the cargo area and filled in the deck vents I added drain tubes to keep the grill areas from holding water...............

If you are wondering......the tail lights are behind the rear wall that the drain tube fits into..............I will remove the tape tomorrow and fiberglass the areas around the tubes for rigidity.............

I also added drain tubes at each corner to the deck lid channel that the weatherstrip fits into................

I need to replace the brake booster tomorrow/test the brakes before I drive it to the painter on Thursday/hopefully.

Seems like Mr. PTSD had a shorter than usual visit. Let's hope he gets lost and can't find his way back to your place...

I was wondering what you we're going to do about the water in the blocked off vents. Great job DG.

Looks like flaird copper to me.

Thanks for the support Guys. Navy-----I used steel fuel line. Another member had problems with water collecting in the sealed-off vent areas after he washed his car, so I added the drain tubes.

It was either Derek or Lowbucks who gave me the drain tube idea. Derek---the PTSD is still here, but I need to get the rear half of the car painted, so I'm forcing myself to get it done.

blue by you.....thanks for looking in.

Jack605.....there are many good ideas in CF forums....I wish I could read all of them/flared steel tubing.

It's a good thing my project is a basket case.....I can try different modifications
