Default Transmission cooler lines route?

I can't tell from my pictures but do the two transmission cooler lines on my '79 project go between the lower A arm and the frame or just route under the frame to the Rad.?

They may have changed things but mine went above the lower a-arm. Had to pass it through when I changed them.

This is from my '74. You can't see it but each line has a mounting clip on it. They are positioned so the mounting hole on each clip is in between the two lines and there is one bolt that holds both clips to the frame.

You can purchase premade lines and install them unless you really want to bend them yourself. From 1977 through 1980 here they are

Thanks guys. I just don't remember them being attached to the frame. The picture is good. I'll take a closer look.

On mine, the lines split apart to go around that bolt and then go back together. Many of the cars I've looked at the lines are just hanging. I think if your now careful removing them they get all bent and hte next thing they don't go back right so they just leave them

As the last few photos show, they go under the frame. The lines route around that bolt but there is a clip that secures both lines to the frame and the bolt secures the clip to the frame.
