Been Driving Again (Pics from a Show)
Yes, the old 1974 is still running. The show was a local event hosted by a Chevrolet dealer who have taken care of my daily drivers for years. Great people and a great dealership. I purchased a Cruze 1LT from them in late June. Donations/sales of hamburgs/hot dogs benefitted a local Cancer Centre. Weather was iffy and stayed iffy with cloudy skies and 50*F temps. There were several showers but at this time of year in Canada you take every opportunity to drive before the white stuff comes.
The 1974 early in the morning.
I am not sure what this yellow vehicle is?? Odd looking thing.
A very nice Camaro but I wonder how such cars can be driven on the street with those tires.
A gorgeous old Buick Riviera. Those land yachts appeal to me for some reason.
What not to like about the old Chevelles.
I don't know what this is but it sure adds variety!
A trio of Corvettes.
The 1966 BB was !!!
And just behind the trio...very nice.
A general shot of one row.
The showers did come several times so for the first time since April the Haartz top went up. It's a bit of a chore to get the windshield Windjammer off and the top in place but what the heck. The top still fits nicely although it has gathered some dust during the summer. So tonight is RaggTopp cleaner time.
Despite some precipitation it was nice to get out.

I thought so but I don't recall a convertible version. Those cars/trucks(?) are pretty rare around here. As you say I don't think they were big sellers.

As I said to arkus I really enjoy this car. My Wife and I just keep it as an enjoyment factor in the garage. When the weather is right we hit the road. Today was my time as she was getting the gardens in shape for the autumn. Tomorrow is fall mums time at the nursery. The flowers of course. But those go in the back of my DD, a Cruze. A 1.4L turbo, fun car. Yes, purchased from that dealership in late June. I don't drive much; only 1,500km (980 miles) on the odometer so far.

Nice pictures. Your car looks great as always.
I love that '66 big block car. I worked with a guy back in the early 70s that had that same color combo with a 427/425.
