Default Now Official Caretaker of Pop's '68

Pop's is hitting 75 this month and spends most of his time in Ensenada, Mexico these days..Retired white guy learned spanish, living the dream...Whatever....

Anyways he got sick of paying over $300 a month to keep his Vette in storage, so I volunteered to let him keep it at my place, but he wants me to keep it clean and drive it once in a while...reluctantly I agreed/

Anyhow, thought I would post up some pics to shares...
1968 427 4spd 3x2 435hp w/ 55k original miles. It has been painted and seats recovered. He is the second owner, Been in the family for over 20yrs./

What horrible chores to be tasked with...I'd be upset if I were you.

The $300 a month that he's saving on storage might cover this. Maybe.

Great looking car!

Boy, do I hate chores! C'mon Dad, do I have to take care of the '68! And I have to drive it around too! The injustice of it all!

Hi b,
Very nice looking car you're going to be taking care of!
Did he maintain 'visitation rights'? I hope so!!!!

The REAL question is : who will he leave it to when he's gone ?
I think he may be MY dad as well, so dont go getting too attached to that car just yet !
Very fine 68 !

"drive it once and while" - he probably doesn't mean in 1/4 mile increments... but what fun it would be, enjoy.
