Looking good Tim! I will be waiting impatiently for the word on your start up. I got my body dolly dabbed and the body mounted on it, frame stripped and ready to head to the sand blaster. Got a lot g way to go to catch up to you.
I saw somewhere that you are in Killeen? I have quite the memory of that town from my time at Hood in 74-75. I don't think I would be welcome by the local police, had quite a few run ins with them on my bike back then. Good times!

The town is not the same as it was in the 70's not only is size but it's not the same place.
Not sure I will start it this week but going to try.... have a few things to do before I go to start... I do not have any inserts for my side pipes so it will be loud.. Are you gong to paint or powder coat your frame? if you plan on powder coat the coaters will do the sand blasting. its part of the price.
I believe I'm following your build... if not I will look for it..
Thanks
Tim

As most that are following my thread know I purchased a rotisserie but need the frame to mount it. I got the info needed from David (AllVettes4Me) where he got his from. Once I receive it I will post pictures but will be a few weeks as I'm in Seattle working for the next 2 weeks.
Only need to replace the 2 seat mounts, speedo cable but the main reason is I'm coating the underside with Line-x and to get this done they need to be able to put the car on its side.
Once I get back home I will be starting the engine but still need inserts for thee side. pipes.

Hope the weather is good in Washington! I'm sure you are anxious about the impending engine start, bet it runs and sounds great too.
Did you ever get any answer on the placement of the O2 sensors in the pipes? I remember somewhere in a past post that the question was raised when you posted the photos of the side pipes.
My frame is getting blasted now, have some repairs to do after and before paint. I'm not a fan of powder coating frames but that's just me. Spent Sunday disassembling my trans an cleaning it up for rebuild. Sure beat cutting the grass!

Jeff,
The weather just sucks here! Rain, Rain and More Rain! So working in the rain outside at night just bites.. But its the nature of what I do..
Yes I'm looking forward to starting the engine before I marry up the body to the frame. I did talk to the makers of the headers and was told they have made many of these headers and have tested them in there shop and the co2 will work fine. Once I get my 73 to my tuner I will post more on this subject. I have not had a chance to run this by the tuner I will drop by his shop in a few weeks.
Thanks
Tim

I pulled the trigger on the Corvette sub frame that will connect to my rotisserie
I was able to cut the shipping and item cost considerably by opting to get the 3" x 3" x 16' here locally also I opted to put casters on that I have.
I was going to build it but getting it already built will save me some time.

Your welcome Art, FYI my cost for the 10 Mounting points with shipping was $660.00
Not sure what the 3" x 3" x 16' 3/16 tubes will cost but I'm sure it will be under $150.00 will find out when I return to Texas.

Coming along nicely Tim and thanks for the updated rotisserie info.
Keep me in mind if you decide to sell the whole setup.
A buddy of mine and I are considering teaming up as we have several cars off their frames already and the rotisserie could come in handy.
BUT....no rush....just a heads up.
You might have a couple of buyers in the wings.
I also bought several 10' sections of 3" box tubing locally to make an engine test stand. Need to get on that too!
So many projects and so little help...haha
Continued success to you with yours.

I will, if I was to guess I will likely be ready to put the body back on the frame during the summer months. Once its back on the frame it will not be coming back off.
Thanks

A few weeks ago I posted some pictures on my Auto hauler but failed to post the finished picture so I'm going through my pictures while sitting in hotel room.
I replaced all the lights with LED's and made a new wiring harness. Also replaced the Battery backup for the brake.
