Looks like my car.
yup, another driving season almost over. I drove mine to work yesterday and today, because I know I won't have too many more nice days before the roads get salted for the first time.
I'll probably wash and wax it tomorrow and keep it in the garage til spring.

the good thing this year is I don't have any mods/repairs planned for over the winter.

After re-doing that hardtop last winter ($$$s) and the heater core in September (much aggravation) I HOPE this winter will be pretty much routine. But I do have my restoration moments; a bad habit for many years. When the Wife asks me what I want for Christmas it is not new socks. A TH400 modulator valve or a TransGo kit would be a nice choice. I get Cadillac shifts. Not that I really mind those but....

I store some cars for people.
Already got 7 in place, expecting 2 more tomorrow. Very early this year!
Any of my regulars that aren't here yet read this, let me know you're coming.

I feel for you guys......

We get snow down here every 22 years....up to 2" total in a bad snowstorm.....

We're due again in 2028.......

Now, occasionally......we get 150 mph winds for a couple days/22" of rain.....but then the sun comes out again.

Lol...know the feeling.

Wash - $8
Full tank of gas - $50
1 bottle of Seafoam - $7
4 quarts of oil - $24
2 boxes of dryer sheets - $6
4 bars of Irish Springs soap - $3

Taking her out for one last ride of the season and driving like you just robbed a bank...
...PRICELESS! Until next spring...

I haven't driven mine much this Fall, but my son's football season ends this weekend. Once that is over, I plan on driving it on weekends until December. Then, we will both hibernate until March. It was a good summer ... drove it a lot !
