Just FYI - the car was delivered with vinyl interior and loop carpeting. The leather seats and woodgrain door panels/center console were added later.

The rear spring has been replaced with a mono-spring and looks like the rear sway bar has been removed altogether.
Awesome, when I saw your reply I actually got nervous. HAHAHAHA! You said the car is nice looking. I was so happy to hear that coming from you. Phew! Now I can wipe the sweat off of me.

Congrats on the purchase. Looks like a great car.
Thanks Vettebuyer for the congrats. YUP, I noticed those things the moment I first saw it. (specifically the interior trim).

Kudos to Revi on eyeing those springs and bar. I knew the suspension was altered somewhat but will have that all checked out when it is delivered to the corvette shop to have the car freshened up a bit.

Nice LS5!

Did you go to look at your car and see the silver '71 350 coupe that was there?

Hey you!!!!!!!!

No, I have not seen my car. Only in photos and videos. My inspector while he looked at the car was eyeing that '71 you are talking about and it is really nicely priced!!!!! Thinking of pulling the trigger?

Hey, when are you gonna sell that ride of yours to someone? You do know you would have made my life so much easier if you let me deposit money into your bank account consider how close you are to me?????

Congratulations, looks like a great car. Glad you found what you were looking for in the end.

May I suggest if you want to work on the car yourself, you buy yourself a cheap bomb of car and play with that first so you don't hurt the precious

Simply, stunning. Glad you found what you wanted.

Let us know when you get ready to road trip that beauty...ok, ok, at the very least, when you drive it to your first show.

Congrats.

I can't get the image of George Bush on the deck of an aircraft carrier in a flight suit, out of my mind, lol. It looks like you have made an excellent purchase. Major combat operations are over. Now you will have the day to day headaches of ownership. The forum will once again be a valuable resource as little headaches crop up.
