Luckily, there are more indignant acts that could have been performed than dragging a small trailer.

Not sayin' dragging trailers is bad, just hard to keep the trailer load from flying on those twisty mountain roads. Makes the rear axle work harder on a 98" WB, too.

You have to decide what is worse. a 78 vette pulling a trailer, being used and driven, or a 78 sitting in someones driveway forgotten and slowly wasting away. I say to the guy who is driving this C3.

i just think its funny, using a 78 silver anniversary as a work horse.... i think an el camino would be more suited for his work requirements

I saw that vett or a similar one last year being used pulling a landscape trailer in the Tampa St Pete area of Florida. I had to look twice at it.

I towed my tires to autocross for 3 years before I could afford to buy a truck and car trailer. Corvettes actually tow great.

I towed my 16 ft Glastron boat for a couple of years with my 78 SA. Did a great job, and yes, I had to replace the half shaft universal joints a few years later.

I saw a something similar a few years back... only with a C2!
Little old guy tooling down the highway pulling his trailer full of junk.

At least they are being used and enjoyed .

My 80 L82 came with the trailer towing package option. It had about every option you could get though. I the the original owner just checked every option box when he ordered the car. I never towed with it, I have a truck for that. I took the hitch off when I got the car. I thought it looked funny sticking out the back.

I would rather see this than have one tucked away in a garage and never seen or driven

I wouldn't be surprised to find that several Corvette owner's use trailers to cart their race tires to an event.

Heres a tough question:

would you rather see a pristine all original C3 on a trailer at a show....or the same car driving down the freeway headed to the show?
