350? You can get it checked, but not necessary. Ext balance, leave it alone.

resurfacing grinds away micro-cracks & heat-spots also levels it ... any auto OR heavy-truck Machine shop
OE external balance flywheels' counterweights are on back of flywheel ... resurface those same as OE internal/neutral balance flywheels

While the flywheel is off, carefully check the starter or ring gear for chipped or rounded teeth. If suspect, change out the gear. They are easy to change at this point. Jerry

Dang, forgot about the 1-piece rear main seal blocks. I have always had two piece seals. Of course, any engine can be internally balanced with the right amount of work. My 496 is internally balanced.

Hi Steve
I don't have a grinder for flywheels but I used Norlor Clutch in Hamden. I think they might have moved though since I had to have a clutch balanced and flywheel ground. They were good $30 to grind a flywheel and install a ring gear on it, now that was a while ago.

Our present and last governor killed manufacturing and the middle class by taxing them out of business or just by moving out of state. You were very smart to leave this area when you did. While I still love it here it's not getting any better and we really haven't recovered as much as other states since 2008.
