Bowling Green tornado
I’m hearing that a tornado caused damage to the plant and the museum. Hopefully no one was injured.

Major damage occurred in Mayfield, Ky when roof of a candle factory collapsed with over 110 workers inside at the time. Mayfield is about 130 milrs almost due west of Bowling Green. Terrible damage there . . .

damage at NCM motorsports and plant
I SAW SOME DRONE VIDEO OF THE FIRE AT THE PLANT AND THE DAMAGE TO MANY C-8'S IN THE PARKING LOT BEHIND THE PLANT. (which GM will total anyway). They total cars for shipping scuffs and such.
I'm glad no-one was hurt. (they are not running 3rd shift at the plant to my knowledge.
I guess it's just me, but my observations are the C-8 is 'snakebit'.
Standing in line for the big C-8 Tornado sale!

starts about 4 minutes in.

To my knowledge, there were no injuries at the plant or the NCM. The tornado touched down about 2:00 am when both facilities were closed. There is significant property damage at the Motorsports Park. The 70-100 death number is a projected figure for the entire state. Since recovery efforts are continuing, it's an estimated figure.

What happens to these cars once they are declared as totaled? Obviously, steps are taken so they will not be sold on the open market. Salvaged for parts, crushed?

Those of us in Okla can fully sympathize. Tornados can be bad juju!

The last I heard was over 90 people survive the candle factory roof collapse, 8 unaccounted for, and 8 confirm dead. Not as many deaths as originally thought. Let's hope the 8 unaccounted for will be found ok.

Part of it read like this...
"Repairs will be attempted prior to your scheduled delivery appointment.....we're asking for your patience & flexibility"
Personally I'd say keep the keys.
Or key fob...

Living in Louisville, this story dominates all the local news. As of today there are 109 people missing in all the effected areas.

The National Weather Service confirmed today there were 3 tornados on the ground in Bowling Green simultaneously.
