Hi all,

want to thank everyone for all the great and valuable info.

I bought a beautiful silver/silver non CE car from LastC3AZ here on the forum, and recently picked up a non complete build 81 with a ton of parts.

Did the reading and checked out Josh Powers at custom image corvettes...and decided to send both cars and parts to him for the build.

1) He is pulling the body, welding the frame up and powder coating... looking for colors.

2) have the VBP big daddy super combo, brakes/ suspension that prolly will powder in red...like another member did here...and the brakes too..

3) have a 19/18 inch wheel/tire combo to powder coat in dark grey

4) heads/cam/intake combo for the ls1 with f body pan/ ls6 oil pump/ ls7 lifters/etc, etc... looking for 450 rwhp..(looking for this combo now)

5) have all the other stuff...vintage air serpentine ls1 set up, alum dual fan ls radiator for swap, straight neck water pump, bla, bla..

6) considering mike dyer billet mod for the alum diff.... has anyone here done that for a 80 thru 82?

7) need a t56, with proper mods for 600 hp

again, thanks for all the great write ups...on swaps, etc..

oh..just had the interior done... will post before and afters on that too

all suspension coming off.. the VBP a-arms etc.... powder coat red

body coming off .... josh is doing power book welding up of frame...and powder coating charcoal or black...

wheels off the yellow car going to match powder coat to frame..charcoal or black..

also powder coat the brake calipers (currently black) to red...from the VBP c5 brake pkg..
