Looks good! Those Cragar louvers look really nice on the later C-3s. Is it me or is the drivers door is a little low?

My 81 is classic white on blue interior... I've got cragars, and the astro top as well... PO bought foose rims but also gave me the stock ones as well... Aside from the sidepipes, pretty close match overall ... ;-)

I don't have a good pic with the same profiles as you yet... Might take some...

Rear was saggin pretty hard in this pic, had a failed rear mono leaf... I've since fixed that and boosted the rear height a lil... This pic also shows the wind jammer I use when the astro top is off... I'd love to hear a quick vid of how yours sounds with those sidepipes!

What was up with your wipers and how'd you fix em?

The ground wire for them is by the starter and it came loose.

It's a combInatIon between the door and the fender.
It's a pain to adjust the doors with the dash in.
I'm hoping in about 2 years I can start getting it ready for paint.
And then I'll get that straightened out.

What symptoms were you getting from the wipers with a broken or intermittent ground?

I'm trying to get my louvers installed but they don't seem to fit on the window correctly. the left side lines up fine but the right side has a huge gap. no matter how many times I adjust the they won't fit perfectly. I wonder if my right side piece is warped. I've already taped the top brackets on 3 times.

Mine also has a small gap on the right hand side. One day I am going to remove the tape and park the car in the sun and let them just sit on the back window not taped.
And see if that will help.

Weird, so it's not just me. I was wondering if I'd be able to reshape it with a heat gun.

Maybe you can with a heat gun. If that works let me know.

Well, at least one of us got something done with their cars today. I spent my day mowing and weedeating while my C3 just watched me, looking at me as if I was neglecting her...

Actually it's really easy, looks like your door droop is up and down and not front to back so no dash removal required.

To adjust the door, just pull the panel, loosen the hinge to door bolts, place a floor jack at the rear of the door, jack it up slightly and tighten everything back up, test it, done. Takes about 20 minutes. You will probably also have to adjust your door striker, which takes another 5 minutes.

If it was me I'd replace the door pin and bushings while I was at it. It took me two hours to do my door, including new pins, bushing, adjustment and I had no clue what I was doing when I started.

This video will help
