I previously owner an '81 and an '85. If I had a choice to get one of them back it would be the 85. The late C3 were underpowered gas hogs

C4 does not have an aluminum frame. I think the C6 Z06 was the first vette with an aluminum frame.

The C4 frame is galvanized though.

with 2k plus trade is a steal but still try to get it cheaper . Either way your coming out on top

Do it! The only Vette I hated was my 85. I just sold my C6 and got a C3 and I am so happy.
