@ 2 x 4:
I absolutely love your yellow 70. This is the car I have been searching for to go with my yellow 67.
I know that the side pipes are not correct for the car but they look fantastic!

Very interesting 70 LS5 vert in the for sale section here on the forum,One family owned Califiornia, raced by the owners wife when new, original paint 29k original miles, and now owned by the owners son. I will try to get owner to post pics and info here,if not maybe someone can post it here.Really great LS5 and history with it,this is the kind of LS5 that peaks my interest.

Entered the Corvette (and Mustang) in the Custom Car Show last snowy Weekend. They had over 1000 car's there so I didn't expect much from the Judge's from a stock Corvette. The engine got plenty of attention though, lot's of picture's were snapped of it. The LS-5 loves the cold weather. Had a good time over all.

I though all Oklahoma car nut's heard of the Daryl Starbird Custom Car Show. It's major show that's been going on now for 51 year's. It last's for three day's in February and is held at the River Spirit Expo Center.
We had 25 of us enter as a (non structured) car club this Year. It's preferred to be a car club to get a good spot at the show.Just have to have a name and rope off the car's. We disband on Sunday night.

Thanks. I've always liked the look of the hardtop. I'm lucky it came with the car.

Man I love the hard top on the 70 LS-5. I've got a line on one myself.
I've been in the classic boat hobby for 25 years and am new to the car world. I certainly have heard of Daryl Starbird and always wanted to stop in at their museum but never had the chance. I've driven by many times going up to Grand Lake for our annual classic boat show.
I had no idea about the car show but will put on the calendar for next year! Many I could put my car next to yours.
Be well my fellow Okie LS-5
