Friday or Saturday will be the next time it's out. Need to safety wire the heat riser open and see how it impacts when the car is cold. Also need to adjust the idler pulley some as I didn't put much tension on belt and it squeals on start for a second. May attempt to buff the car some this weekend depending on temperatures.

Beautiful 80 degree day here in NJ no humidity the LS5 ran great and again temp never broke 160

mid-90's here yesterday and mine hit 210 in traffic after a long drive. Too hot for the car and for me.

Last week on hot humid 90 degree day the temp never went above 180.

Even in 100 degree weather in Texas, mine hasn't moved beyond the hash mark between 100 and 210. I did put a 160 thermostat in to help keep it from running too hot though. This is also the same that the original LT-1 runs when warmed up.
