I have yet to see a LS5 Vert priced under 50k so as far some of them being listed as SOLD in the mid 20k range at Auction being REAL, LS5 prices are pretty healthy.

Some of the asking prices I see are mind blowing. I just sold my Marlboro Maroon '70 LS5 on evilbay.....$32,000. I listed it for no reserve. Nice driver++ level car, matching numbers, very solid and original car. It's a data point for us all, anyway. I'm on the hunt for my next C3 to resurrect!

I recently bought it, indeed. My hobby is finding derelict Vettes, repairing them so they are safe, better and fully functional again, drive them for a bit to experience them, then either keep, or sell them. Sometimes I make enough to cover my costs, sometimes I get burned. It's a weekend hobby for me, as I have a real day job. Does that make me a "flipper"? I dunno, I don't really care about labels. But I'm having fun with it as a hobby and that's all I care about.
