So, I forgot to share my cruise in experience from a few months ago. I was at my local cruise in and had an older couple come over to my car. They asked me if it was mine, to which I replied, yes. The gentleman tells me it is a nice car, and i said thanks. He then tells me he just loves Vettes and he purchased a 2014. I asked, "A C7"? and he says "Yes". I asked if it was here and he again says, "Yes" and points to where it was parked. I told him I was going to go look at it and then the unbelievable happened...He tossed me his key fob! He said he was going to go talk to some friends and for me to feel free to take a look. I couldn't believe it! I had never met him before and here he is giving me his keys. No, I did not drive it, but I sure did sit in it, and for anyone who hasn't seen it in person yet, the interweb pictures do it no justice in comparison.
I am definitely an old sole. Respect, honor, values, and music ended when Pink Floyd broke up.
I was just coming of age when Floyd broke up. I was left with big hair bands of the 80's... Poison, Def Leppard, White Snake... etc. I did get to see Roger Water's tour in 85 in Atlanta.
