When you get the engine and headers installed, please post a shot of the headers at the bottom of the car.
Are they going to "HANG DOWN" very far?
I think I recall, back "THEN", Headers always hung down too low.
Same my Camaro, Same the 68 Coupe I had briefly. Back in the mid 70s to the mid 80s

I sure will Art as soon as I get an oil pan in and assemble the valve train I am going to drop the motor in the frame.

Got my fuel line today.
In case you're wondering how they get a 12 foot fuel line into a 6 foot box.

Had to do a little modifying on this push rod length checker to work with my roller block. Apparently the rods are a little shorter on these blocks. Once I get my length I can order the push rods and get this valve train finished.

Amazing progress! The motor looks beautiful. When is she getting dropped in the frame?

One benefit of not being around for a few months is I got to catch up on all that at once!

Navy, I hope to drop her in the frame this month, then start figuring out my exhaust system.

Been so busy working on other things I haven't put much time in on the Vette. But calculated the push rod lengths, ended up ordering 4 different lengths, (long story) got them from Comp Cams. I have to replace a rotten floor in our camper then it's back to the Vette, I promise.

gonna take lots of dicing and slicing to get this exhaust together. Finding mandrel bent stainless in a few different places.

My exhaust guy wouldn't touch my car until the body was on (temporarily). With headers, even more so!

Ya I was thinking about that same thing. I'd better lower the body on for a look.
