Default Would You Pay $100k for This Corvette 'Prototype Showcar'?

In the world of custom Corvette's, there seems to be no such thing as too high of a price. Even when the Corvette in question is probably not worth a tenth of what the seller is actually asking for. Take this 1969 Corvette "prototype showcar," for example.

If you're going to make a custom, at least make sure it looks good..

That thing has been up for sale for quite some time now. You'd think by now he would have gotten the hint and dropped the price!

LOL, I was going to say I wouldn't own/drive it if you gave it to me...but this is more accurate.

If you gave it to me, I wouldn't drive it. Maybe sell the parts.

It may be a showcar, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a prototype from GM

I would drive the crap out of this C3. But I wouldn't pay even 10% of what the price is.

Nice. Nope, but this C3 would be one of those cars that you could rough up a little and then when you get tired of it, part out all of the good stuff, and get rid of the rest.

True...and until then, you'd be the envy (and ridicule) at the Vette gatherings.

PS: I wonder if those rear window "louvers" have a string you can pull to adjust them like blinds.

Yeah that would be funny! I would be the only one who would be able to burn out without caring. Blinds would be awesome! If the cops pulled me over, I would say I didn't see you officer, my blinds must have been closed! I was thinking for $100K, the owner built in an ejector seat with that funky roof/windshield. Now that would make it worth a lot of fun.

I think I would advance directly to the "part it out" point and skip the "being seen in it" phase.
