Drove my 7yo son to school then through the drive-thru for a coffee and to work.
Supposed to be hot (for here) today 80*F and humid. Tops off and I left them at home, I think I'll regret not having them for shade at least.

I replaced the fuel pump on my '80. It will go a lot faster next time. I also bought a fuel pump block off plate (the easiest way to get a gasket RFN/Today), so it may well be the last time I install a mechanical fuel pump on a Corvette.

Drove to my local SUNOCO hoping they might have gas without ethanol. No luck. Was hoping they might have a pure gas premium since they are the official gas of NASCAR. The search goes on....hopefully will find a place in the future.

Went to a car show at the Budweiser plant in Fairfield, CA. Nice local show with a nice verity of cars. I saw two C3's a nice pair of C2's and a C1, oh and about 8 C7's

I installed Right mirror on my 1969 L46
I know it is bad, but security first.
I just couldn't park my car in the garage alone without that.
... A little better, but I still can not by the way...

as I bought the car this weekend, 1982 C3, spent about 12 hours over two days cleaning everywhere, including engine compartment plus clay and wax exterior. For me always the best way to get to know a car plus from here on out its only minimal upkeep.

as the tires on the new aquired car were about 15 years old, bought new tires, Cooper Cobras;went with the less expensive ones as i drive about 3-4K miles a year only. Wow and wow, what a difference-the car has a hugely different feel besides being lots more quiet from road noise.

Chasing down an electrical gremlin in my electric fuel pump circuit. New Aeromotive pump blowing fuses.
Solution: Bigger ground wires for the pump and relay grounds.
