Found some really neat throttle linkage ends- made by "Steinjager." They make a lot of Jeep parts- but also have a lot of neat stuff in the "Builder's parts" section.
These are stainless steel- quick disconnect and with some 10-32 threaded rod and some 1/4" stainless steel tubing -it turned out professional looking-

I did not personally see it but my Dad told me that a big engine builder in Houston proved to him that solid motor mounts actually distort the motor when its romped on.He always used chains to front of block. When i used the moroso mounts on my car he laughed and said you just love building motors over and over huh.

I received my new Mcleod clutch and 24 lb medium weight flywheel.
The research continues for any needed upgrades to SST's conversion from auto to TKO 600 kit.

solids MM's take all the stress of the NVH and torsions, and apply it to 3 bosses on the outer jacket of the block per side... plates go in the front and rear of the engine, reinforcing off the entire block

Today I received my refurbished/rebuilt steering column for my '81.
I had a gentleman here in Texas work on it.
corvettecolumns.com. in Canton, TX Larry@ 817-296-1819
I'm posting a photo of the way that the column was packaged
This man shipped the column in a crate held together by screws
I am impressed.
On to the install tomorrow.

Got driver side almost done, working on passenger side and for paint to cure
also got the radiator core support out and its in great shape considering its original! So cleaned it up and repainted it as well.
Cant sing the praises of vinegar loud enough, put the part in it, leave it for 2 days and walk across the street to the car wash on the 2nd day and simply spray em down, all the rust falls off 😍😍
