why DID you change it? Tired of the twin carbs having you stop for gas every 50 miles?

I changed it because all of my cars have dual quads on a tunnel ram with scoops. I wanted a car I didn't have to watch the weather in. It rains a lot here in Florida. I'm making it up to her by putting in nitrous.

Installed the exhaust panel nut plates on my new taillight panel. I ended up using my neighbor's hand rivet press for airplanes. Work is so much easier with the right tools!

No need to worry- it's for one of them chrome bumper cars!!!

So you can bolt the rear filler panel on below the bumper-

Played around with different thermostats. I thought the non modified 195 was letting the engine get a little too warm at times. It got up to 210 on an Autometer gauge.

I'm using a Stewart Stage II water pump. Stewart recommends a thermostat with three 3/16 " holes drilled in it. They sell them also. I had a Stewart modified 180 thermostat so I put it in. The car is running 195 at The warmest now.

I have an adjustable fan controller that I need to adjust now to zero in on the temperature.
