Had the oil changed Friday complete with zinc additive. Thanks to those who recommended this. Then yesterday I ordered carpet from Willcox. Now the wood stove is cleaned out I can do the carpet this winter. Do not care if it takes me forever.

In the process of rebuilding the driver side trailing arm and axle, had too much play.. new bearings (incumbent weather delayed most of my parts shipments), new KYB Gas-Adjust shocks, replacing the u-joints in the half shaft today. Will definitely miss Cars and Coffee Sunday.

Installed Willwood D8-4 front calipers, front end rebuild nearing completion, brake bleeding to commence first thing Saturday am. 45 year old car with original front rotors, within spec, .002 run out right side, .003 left side- not too bad IMO.

Airconditioner conversion
Finished up my A/C conversion from R12 to 134a. Removed all A/C lines & pieces (except the evaporator). flushed all lines, evaporator and condenser with A/C flush followed by lots of air. New liquid line, New expansion valve, new accumulator. All new green seals in line fittings and compressor, new shaft seal in compressor. Adjusted POA valve down from 29.5 to 25. Fixed leak on condenser out line. Sucked down to 28 in. for 24hrs. Held vacuum, so I charged with about 1lb of 134a just to keep the air out until I can completely charge when summer gets here. Lastly replace and adjusted the hood.

Melting Slicks
Removed a broken rear wheel stud and I'm waiting on replacements. Stud broke when the wheels were being replaced after a dyno run, looking at the break it seems it had been cracked for some time. I have to wonder what the rest are like now after nearly fifty years of use.

I messed with the "Krome Zone" powdercoat from Summit.
My Harbor Freight Gun works great- but the difference between Summit's media and Harbor Freight's - Summit's is about $15 a 1lb more - works a heck of a lot better.
Here's all the hood deck lid hardware-
