Today I put my Corvette away for the winter in a nice heated garage, I'll pull it out of storage around the 1st of April.

I installed my custom "Spreader Bar"; took it for a short ride. Wow, with the coil overs front and rear special alignment. It handles nicely around corners.

I took mine out so someone could insult me about it.

I had to run out to get something to eat and I had used oil and trash to drop at the dump. Since I didn't want to go to the dump, then come back to get the Corvette, I just put it on the floor and went.

A guy at the dump asks if it is a '69. 1968, I tell him. He then goes on how it would be nice if I'd do some work on it.

When you are on bottom, it has to get better. A couple of guys in a C7 pulled up next to me on the way to eat. At a light, they asked what year and talked a bit.

When I got over to Chick Fil A, things improved some more. Their plumbing was out so they were putting everyone through the drive thru. they had several employees out scanning and taking orders out there. Three of the guys made comments about how nice it was and how they really liked it.

Maybe there's a reason he was hanging out at the dump.

Default Rebuilt the front brakes from the spindle out...

I got the rotors off and turned, replaed the wheel bearings and races, replaced the calipers and brake hoses, and replaced the pads on both the left and right side.

Next weekend... the rears and front and rear shocks!

Went to visit my 2014 4X4 after some guy lost control of his new Lexus in the rain last week and I ended up with $7,700.00 in damage. I was able to maintain control and didn't hit anyone else, but he took out 4 other cars. I'm glad I pay for good insurance.

Buttoned her up and off to storage today. On the bright side my "winter vette" (2001 Coupe) came home!
