The driveshaft comes with the Silver Sport Transmission kit.
The chromoly driveshaft is a $110.00 upgrade and it comes from their vendor who makes it for them.
I'm sure if you call SST they would set you up with their vendor.

I got it off in about 45 minutes, haha. Thank you for the suggestion. It worked!

Pulled the door panels off and lubed the power window tracks, latch, & locking mechanisms. White lithium grease after some spray cleaning with Brake Cleaner.

Got a big LOL @ the primitive "Velcro" used to hold the panels on.

Windows now going up and down 2x as fast, apparently no need to replace switches, relays, wiring, circuit breaker, etc.

1968's a real pain in the *** to open the door you must FIRST depress the button (the button the key goes into) and THEN push the handle down. I guess I should consider it
an anti-theft feature. With liberal amounts of white lithium all over & inside the mechanism (operated while spraying) it works a bit easier. I'd still rather have 1969 doors.

Default Woke up to horn blaring

Wife woke me up this morning "the horn on the vette is blaring!" Please shut it off !
me, in my groggy state, the horn doesn't even work!
I haven't gotten to the steering column yet but currently the horn never worked, I went outside thinking its the security alarm on the garage but no, it was the horn... I lifted the hood and disconnected the plug to the horn, strange... wonder what triggered it .

I reinstalled my under hood lamp. I put a switch inline to be able to power the lamp without the car running. I also installed an led bulb. Ready for the under hood light show tonight.

One wire at a time, from each direction.
You'll get it.

Started changin the fuel lines! Very tight squeeze with body on!
Even removal is very tight.
Seller from which I bought the car just painted the lines over with some silver paint to make them look new!!!!
I'm replacing them with copper/nickel lines and they are very easy to work with. Easy to bend in place!

Finally got the crank, pistons, and heads on my 383 short block. I took some pics, but they are in the camera, and now I have to find the cord for it. Ugh. Anyway, tomorrow night, after work, I'll get the valve train installed, maybe even the timing cover. That would be fabulous.

Did you just change the bulbs and the blinker with LED one?
