72 gauge bezel screws. dash thread color
What style and "color" are the vertical screws that hold the wiper switch bezel in place as well as the screws that hold the plastic vent piece into the bezel on a non AC car?
Also, the stitching on my passenger side lower dash is a gold-ish color and I don't know if it's faded black or smoke stained white.
So, white or black thread?

Hi Barry,
Originally the stitching on the dash pads matched the color of the pads.
The vertical screws on my 71 are black.
The 2 screws that hold the small duct are a dark gray, but not the black that the upper screws are. They're also more like a fillister head.
Regards,
Alan

Hi Barry,
I just checked my notes again and through 72 the stitching matched the color of the pads.
I think the thread color must have really faded quickly or perhaps it wasn't properly 'color fast' so simple cleaning removed the color.

Alan
