I finally pulled the trigger, It's official I'm a C3 owner.
Just as stated I finally found MY C3, after looking for 3 months and looking at, at 10 cars, I found a 82 Gold very clean well kept rust free car. This forum helped me a lot in what to look for in finding the right car for what I thought was a decent price $9500 the only issue I could find was the brakes were a little soft but other than that that cross fire purred like a kitten, on a scale from 1 to 10 it's easy a 9 now the fun begins.

Bumpers look off a shade or two. Repaints? Might be the angle making it look different.

Yeah.. The color pushed me over the edge, hell I didn't even tell my wife.. (she knew I was looking though) I just sent her a picture and her response was were my set of keys. LOL she was more excited than I am

Congrats on the toy, there is one for sale near me in the same colors, came from Oregon and ended up in middle of nowhere NY. I felt so bad seeing it sitting outside all winter but my wife didn't feel nearly as bad. Enjoy and if you want a twin I know where it is

Yes sadly all winter out in the elements. I saw it a few weeks ago so it has thawed. Actually it was in a town smaller than Jamestown, one of those here's an intersection let's call it a town kind of places. If I remember correctly it was sitting with a Porsche also from Oregon so maybe someone got the worlds worst job transfer.
