Default Question for Alan71

I'm rebuilding/restoring the rear suspension on my 72. I need to know if the underside of the storage/battery compartments were painted or just natural fiberglass.

Hi mg,
Come on, lots of folks could answer this one.
Typically the entire fiberglass underbody is natural fiberglass.
In the area of the battery box and jack compartment sides there may be INCIDENTAL sound deadener and or black-out paint.
The likelihood that there's any on the bottom of the box or compartment is pretty slim.
Regards,
Alan
