Default Steering Column seal and plate torque

1978 corvette.
Anyone have the torque specs for the 2 nuts holding the steering column seal & plate. This is at the firewall where there is a plate with bolts going through the firewall and connects with a plate and seal on the steering column. ?

Thanks...

There are no torque specs on those . Just don't pretend that you are arm wrestling the biggest guy in high school . I just had my steering column in and out several times during my build . Just stug them up with a reasonable amount of pressure. They are not as critical as the rag joint.

I Used 150 in lbs, (12.5) ft lbs which is good and snug.

Thanks....

There are torque specs on those bolts. (100-140 lbs in) This picture is from the 69 AIM, but that spec should not have changed since that part of the car is basically the same.

Not the first to be caught by the "related threads" trap, won't be the last either
