Well, the '75 has been sold. After buying a `69 convertible, there was no reason to keep it. I put off getting rid of it, but a recent change in employment status made the sale more of a necessity.
I hope the new owner continues the project and gets her back into showroom condition.

Well I'm happy you brought this thread back up to the top. I'm sure the new custodian will be thrilled with the work you have done. On the other hand they might be overwhelmed to maintain the quality of workmanship.
I hear you on the employment status thing. For the first time in 34 years I find myself not currently working.

Me too. And I find that amount of money spent while not at work is incredible - especially on car stuff. I had no idea how much money I saved just by showing up at the office.

Things are looking up, though. A company that I've had a couple phone interviews with emailed me today to arrange to fly me out to their offices for a face to face meeting. Fingers crossed that I get the position! 👍

First thing I stopped doing when I became unemployed was working on my Corvette, which was just depressing. But I couldn't justify spending any money on non-essentials.

Seriously, classic cars are a labor of love. They're great to have but need TLC from time to time.
Good luck on your new endeavors.
