I'm sure some of you name your cars and others think that I'm stupid for even suggesting such a thing. It's all good either way
My wife and I just bought a new to us 76 C3 and we are in love.
4 speed, Magnaflow Exhaust, Edlebrock intake and carb.
It was a bucket list item that we were able to check off a bit early (early 30s for age).
Anyway, we need a name and we have 3 to choose from.
Bucket. It's a bucket list item and I'm from the south. This simplistic name appeals to me.
eNVy. Yes, spelled like that. Due to my name being Nick and my wife, Veronica, it's our initials formed into a word. Little cheesy, but we like it.
Crush. It's certainly orange!! and we had a crush on it from the time we laid eyes on her.
What say ye, oh forum of vette people?!?
All threads are worthless without pictures, so without further delay, the goods.

My one car is named "Pete", my other car is named "Not Pete". (As sarcasm doesn't come across well in forum text, I'll be clear that I think naming cars is dumb.)
Good luck to you though.

Beautiful car. Enjoy it for many years. You should choose the name, because you will have to live with it, but from your options, my choice would be eNVy. IMO Bucket is not very flattering for the car, at least not the buckets I think of. Crush, yes goes with the color, but taken alone, well you don't want that to happen to it. Just my opinion. I wanted to name my car also, but I have no imagination.

I've just called mine " The White Car " cuz when I bought I didn't want anyone to think I was bragging about " my vette " ...
My friends have called it Casper for years ...so that's sorta stuck .

Mine was always called "The Little Red Car" for the same reasons, didn't want people to think I had the "Big Head". When I met my wife and we were only dating, when she asked what I had been doing, it was "tinkering on The Little Red Car" or "Went cruising in The Little Red Car". It was several months before she knew it was a Vette. When we got the personalized license plate, she insisted. "LTLREDCR".

If that name has some sort of sentimental value (which it clearly does) then you picked a good one! My 73 doesn't have a name because I am planning to sell but my girlfriend and I named my 74 Sheri after Sheri Moon Zombie and her wonderful booty

Given your 3 choices.... I`d go with Crush, but I`d add the obvious..... "Orange Crush".
We`re considering "Silver Bullet" for our Steel Cities Gray 71 coupe.

Go with Bucket. Will make much more sense as time goes on than your bucket list reasoning…as we all have the wonderful privilege of finding out as we perform our current caretaker duties!
As for me, the car is simply referred to as "She". And She's good.
And great looking car! Love the wheels.

That's a great-looking C3, regardless of what you name it. How do you like the MagnaFlow setup so far?

I named my '64 GTO "Heartbreaker" for the number of times it broke at the drag strip. Always a weak link, after I 'improved' it . I actually had the name put on the side pro style.
I finally got it down to a reliable 12.80, what a great car, I miss it terribly. That's the only one I named, the rest are just cars.
