I made plans for items to be worked on for my 77 project while I was away and those are heading back my way now so work on the racer and the 77 will begin again soon, very soon.
And I have some items to sell from the 78 I bought for the frame, and that frame needs to head to the frame shop for dimension verification and adjustments if needed, etc. All needs to be planned out now, but I will get there.
So yep, I am back, and will be back at it shortly.

Hope you enjoyed your vacation David. I wanted to jump back a couple of posts and ask about the foam sound deaden-er that you added to the Dynamat Xtreme layer in your car.
Have you used the Dynamat Xtreme by itself in other cars and were you not satisfied with the level of sound dampening that it provided?
How come you didn't go with a Dynamat Xtreme and Dynaliner combo for your sound and heat dampening solution?
I will be removing my interior this winter to do some mods and was thinking of going in the Dynamat Xtreme and Dynaliner direction for my sound & heat solution.

That is why. The Dynamat Extreme was nice but I still bought more of it to fill in between the areas it did not cover in the die cut kit. FYI.

David,
Thank you for your hospitality today!
I enjoyed the tour of the "bat cave". You have some really cool projects. I enjoyed chatting and insights from others on how they tackle projects. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Nice work, here in Oahu now and not looking forward to that adjustment back to the EST. Took several days just to stop waking up at 4am when we got here...and I was sleeping in.

Winter is coming so I pulled her outside and took some pictures before moving her onto my trailer. Heading to Gordon's for a little winter engine tuning and steering refinement.

Race Director
David and I have tentatively set a date right before Thanksgiving to have his car in my garage. My Vette will go into his "storage" for a while to help move this project along. I will update David with pictures so he can keep this going and moving forward. I'll be busy with it this winter.
