Very nice build. What did you do to the rest of the drivetrain to support the Weak link finder of a motor you have.lol That thing is going to break parts. Jesel parts are great too, by the time you buy roller rockers and a stud girdle you at the same cost as an entry level shaft system. Best to go shaft mount with higher lift cams.

Thanks guys and the Oscar ha ha wow! I am humbled.
Grumpy: I welded the frame seams, strengthened the body mounts, gusseted the motor mounts and the rear hump and filled the old trailing arm slots with 3/8 steel and clearanced the rear frame for the 305/25/22. I did major modifications to the front cross-member to fit the March Ultra serpentine kit, so that is also much stronger. It has a Keisler Transmission cross-member which is also very strong.
The rear is a Autofab built 4 Link back braced Moser 9" with a Detroit Locker, and the transmission is a Keisler modded TKO 600+ with a Billet Bellhousing, and 800 HP hydraulic clutch.
I am fairly confident it will hold together. I am running street tires, because if I put slicks on it and take it to the track they will ban me for life haha but who knows if I can sneak it out there when we rent the track. I really think I should be fine all the way around. Any parts that break will be upgraded as necessary.

Engine progress pictures! The March Ultra kit is on with the new Black Onyx center trim piece. Was considering taking all serpentine bracketry off and powder coating it black. Too much shiny up front.. Scored a set of OBX Stainless side pipes from eBay. I am very impressed. Way nicer then Hooker super comps at first inspection. I will see how they fit and hold up over time. All that is left to do is dial in the bell housing, clearance the valve covers and finish the plug wires, and it is ready to be installed. More pics next week!

In case anyone is interested in the March Ultra set, here is a pic of the front frame mods I had to complete to allow the Ultra kit to fit, had to make a channel for the belt, a huge area for the crank pulley and a large cutout for the tensioner as well. Also a pic of my best friend and helper Bubby..

Just brought my 540 home from my brothers machine shop! Can not wait to get it in the car!
I ended up using a Quick Time bell housing for safety reasons, the 540 makes way too much horse power for the cast aluminum one that Keisler sold me with the TKO 600. It is setup with offset dowels and drilled and tapped set screws, end result it is dialed in @ .02!
I included a pic of the machine work to the valve covers to clearance for the Jesel rockers on the Brodix heads.

Was able to get the 540 prepped and installed before Irma hits and washes us all into the Ocean, ha ha.
Should have installed some pontoons and rear prop attachments, making note to self for next time..

FYI, I had to do the same thing on a small block with Canfield heads and Jesel Sportsman shaft rockers. The pushrods contacted the sealing rail on the top side of my GM Performance cast aluminum valve covers. I had to notch the covers to clear. It's probably a combination of rocker geometry, big springs, high valve lift, and larger pushrods.

I recently removed the stock rear bumper and replaced it with fiberglass. I had a chance to re-do the rear bumper assembly. I sand blasted everything, primed and painted then drilled out all the studs and rivets and used polished 12 point ARP hardware for everything.
Very happy with the results!
Also closeted the Lorenzo 22/20's and am trying out the Rockstar staggered concave 20's.

I need to do the same for the front, but I still am looking for a Vanacor fiberglass front nose. Anyone know where I can get one?
