PP and I are working out the rules, but we're going to have a new 'contest', and, trust me, it's going to be huge! (Or is it YUGE!!!
). The prototype for the prize is done, and works as intended.Best to all, and to all a good night!

- Contest starts right now
- Previous entrants and winner are eligible and encouraged to enter.
- The prize is different than the previous, very spectacular one. It’s even more spectacular!
- I will cover expense of shipping the prize domestically. International shipping to be negotiated.
Simple to enter – You need to post, to this thread, the date The Plastic Pig’s body will be placed upon its frame.
- In the event that there are multiple guesses as to the correct date, the answer also providing a time, which is closest to the actual event will be chosen.
- In the event that there are two entries sufficiently similar (in the view of the judges) as to preclude one from being chosen over the other, the earlier entrant (which will be readily seen by the day and time of their entry post in this thread) will selected the winner.
- The contest will end when the body is placed upon the frame, even if, for whatever reason, it is subsequently removed.
- Entries will close Saturday, 31 January at 23:59.
- Of course, the Judges decision will be final.
GOOD LUCK!

Bummer about the focus - That's Walt and me, he being the original owner.

So, we're waiting on the radiator...
In the meantime, the 38 Packard is back.

The owner didn't stop in time. Not bad, but got the lower leading edge of the right front fender, not to mention the bumper...

One radiator!

Pipe dream!

That's it for 8 Feb.

The Caddy is making progress.

A Mustang with three side drafts. Why not?

Familiar? Owned by the twin brother of the earlier one.
And that's it for 22 March.
Unwrapped. Owned by the twin brother of the greenish one.

At The Beauty Parlor, 14 April '17

The el Dorado is back with new top. The Mustang is gone, and Piggie still waits. 21 April 17.
Piggie is still hanging, but this is new:

Ouch.
5 May. Cico de mayo

Looks lovely.

Studebaker for an upcoming project.
One of these fine days Piggie will be down out of the stratosphere and work will begin in earnest.

Starting issues:
1. Gasoline spraying all over from the various connections of the spiffy SS fuel line from pump to carb. Fortunately the original line was at hand. I supplied the fuel line, from a well-known vendor.
2. Genuine, and original, GM inspection plate rubbed on flywheel. Horrid noise.

Various bits, like proper fuel line, etc, for engine need to be got. But, hearing it run after 34 years was quite a rush.

Update on the 66 shown earlier with dinged left nose:

Al la high school yearbook, I'm attempting to collect signatures of those involved with the car. This is the party from whom I bought it in 1976 adding his signature. I figure it might be as interesting as a real build sheet.

He's digging thru all kinds of paper trying to find anything of possible interest. I hope he finds it!
