I'm removing the rear window for painting, the window has a few scratches in it. Is there a way to fill the scratch, I think they were made with razor knife during a 1985 repaint. I was thinking of the stuff glass repair shops use for star repair. any thoughts....
Additionally, I guess while its out I will get a glass polish kit and try to improve the window, any suggestions on the polish kit / procedure?
Is the stock window seal kit the way to go for reinstall?
thanks in advance for comments

The fix for that is a new piece of glass. You can get therm date coded if that is a big deal. You can get a new one date coded for around 150. You can get one from Eklers for 80. By the time you buy the polish and the kit and your time to get it nice you could have a perfect one.
