Does anyone have the vacuum hose diagram and troubleshooting guide for the headlight and wiper door actuators for a 1972 base engine W A/C automatic.

Hi Al,
I believe you'll find that the Willcox Corvette site has very good vacuum layout diagrams for each production year as well as trouble shooting information.
The systems can be quite a puzzle until you've studied the information a bit, gotten to understand what each component is supposed to do and when, and then tested each component individually and independently to see if it's working properly.
Having a vacuum pump with a gauge (such as a mity-vac) can make working on the systems more straight forward.
You might also consider buying a 72 Assembly Instruction Manual if you don't already have one. The AIM can be a help in understanding where the parts are located and how they're interconnected.
