Well Dick Dean was a well known and respected customizer and had a lot of influence on what dune buggies of the era looked like.
This car certainly has a 'cobbled' together look…. and that might be the nicest thing I can say about it.

the car is no where near as bad as some gross pic of a dork puking, 
It was made to be a dune buggy, it was the make car that was used in death race 2000 that people think is a real corvette,
Most are topless, I would love to have one just never the right timing....

I'm with you on that one Bats . As far as the Shala goes while certainly not stunning we've see much worse.

I've never liked the cartoonish drawn cars . Models, TV , toys , .....but holy fugly Batman this thing is extra ugly in real life full size .......even though as a Hotwheel toy it might appear cute.
Kinda like an Alfred E Newman Mad Magazine car......so ugly ....kinda funny.
Looks like something from a Saturday morning speed racer kids show.
I like customs .....but not in this a cartoonish style. ....very cheesy
