New 70-72 ls5 owners thread

Le Mans Master
I often wonder if I should post my '71 LS5 Convertible on the forum to see if the original owner's son would be interested in his dad's car. I know his full name and approximate birthday year. He was about 1 year old when I bought the car from his parents in 1975. The photo below shows the mark on the passenger seat from his baby seat. It was still in the car when I took it for a test drive in 1975. His father passed away in 2012.

My 70 LS5 coupe. I bought it from the 4th owner this June. He had it 20 years and put less than 4000 miles on it. Many new parts. He was getting it ready for paint when I got it. It has a 1970 warranty "CE" block in it but I don't have the story behind it. The rest of the drive train is original. I always wanted one and this is the mate to my 1970 SS 396 L78 Camaro.
