78 brake light stuck on

It never came on until I pulled the emergency brake to make sure it worked, now it stays on is there a switch in the console to the emergency brake might be stuck? Any help is appreciated thank you

There is a switch that is attached to the parking brake itself.
Remove your p.brake cover and take a look at it.
