Default 1981 collector series front air dam

I ordered a collector series front air dam today and I was wondering if I can get rid of the cheap rubber lower air dam extension

I leave them on...they are there for a reason....but do asy ou wish.

I am kinda confused what you mean by 'collector series'....because the 1981 was not a "collectors edition"...The 1982 was.
