what I am looking for is a flair for the rear wheels. I want to be able to run 10' to 12" wheels, big fat tires, you know. from what I have seen, it's beginning to look like a job for a good fiberglass guy. Thank you all for your help. All good ideas.

Ah!
There's a bit of a difference between flairs and a wide-body conversion.
If you google c3 Corvette flairs you see lot's of pictures and suppliers of flares!
