Will A '76 Hood work on a '75
I have a '76 hood that is in better shape than my stock '75 hood. I know the the '76 doesn't have the cowl induction, but will it line up with the '75 hood latches? Thanks

If it is a 'factory-made' hood, yes.

getting past the latch changes from 68-82 and the short 68-72 hoods the bigger c3 hood issue is even stock factory hoods fit some cars better than others same with aftermarket, you might bolt it on and the fit is sweet or it might take all kinds of adjustments and still be off...hoods are simply hit or miss on these cars...
ecklers has cut off years like 73-75 76-81 some to 82

My anecdotes.
Bought a L88 hood from GM parts in 1974 and it didn't fit my 69 BB very well.
My 69 factory stock BB hood didn't fit very well when I tried to install it on my 68. The 68 had a SB hood, but the BB should have been interchangeable.
When I had my 68 repainted, the body shop did a LOT of work to make the stock 68 SB hood perfectly fit the original car that it was installed on at the factory.
Cliff's notes: Stock hoods don't seem to interchange too well on early C3's.

And then lets open the bucket of worms of the custom aftermarket special long hoods to fit 68-72 when a cat wants to ditch the cool old wiper door......

I've put a 1975 aftermarket (eklers ) hood on my '77 - I was able to relocate the 77 hardware to the 75 hood and it fit great, no problems.
