Please tell me you have another video of that ZL1 being run in on the engine stand as it was being broken in. The short idling one you posted here was just too much of a tease!
And if you post a video of that motor running, (not idling) it will give you a huuuuuge shot in the arm for Corvette of the Year!!!
ZL1s are legendary... and how many of us have actually heard one!

Hello team General! We are in the running and currently 3rd in the Corvette of the year vote. We are a big underdog but I know the last time I asked for votes we went from down 20 to + 25! Maybe we have run out of racing gas on this thing but the General only knows pedal to the floor, Full throttle, BLOW OR GO!

What are you using for fuel? I remember, from my former oval track days, the distinctive smell of "racing gas". Back in my day, it was 'Cam 2', which was made by Sunoco, I think. These days, it's VP or Rockett…..

Sunoco racing fuel, I don’t think they have the Cam 2 anymore. It’s sure stings the wallet but smells great.
