Default Looking for headers for a 1979 Corvette

My brother has a 79 vette with a 350 in it. He bought an ebay set of headers a while back, and they hang down waaaay to low to the ground (like 2 inches off the ground) we are looking for a set of headers that are specifically made for the corvette and will be tucked up higher. The ends need to be the standard collector types, not the bell shaped ends. Does anyone know a good vendor or a place to buy them where we can be 100% sure they will not hang down? He is just looking for black metal headers, not chrome or anything fancy.
Thanks in advance.

My 79 with the matching numbers 350 has Hooker Super Comp headers that were installed by the previous owner. I've had the car for over 10 years and had no problems whatsoever.

I ended up getting a set from Summitracing.com There were numerous reviews on them saying that they fit many years of C3s

Schoenfeld (sp?) headers #151 is what I went with....only thing is to watch plug rubber, as I went to Jacobs ceramic boots to cure that issue...I only paid like 150 bux for the headers, they are unequal length headers, so it don't matter when running a full exhaust, even with no mufflers.....I have an H pipe behind the trans, and a pair of Magnaflow stainless in back...nice sound without sounding like a drag star.....
