Let's see your burgundy (Maroon) C3s
Did GM make a mistake by bringing in the Burgundy (Maroon) colors to the C3? Are these show winners? No, but they are beautiful. Seems the audience at shows likes the reds and even greens before the burgundy...are sleeper rare color option cars?

The color was not my first choice, but the rest of the car was what I was looking for when I bought it. Today it´s still not my first choice but I like it more than back in the days I bought it. Yes it´s a rare color ;-)

I would love to send a pic of mine, but for the foreseeable future, it's silver over charcoal. Burgundy is my favorite on a C3.

Picture of my 77 taken at cruise in by photographer. I won one of best corvettes
that night so they take a picture of your car and give you a 8 x 10.

I love the maroon c3s. This was actually my first choice of color but there are not many out there. Even less BB cars. I just purchased a riverside gold 69. Being an Aggie from Texas, maroon would have been cool but I am very happy with my purchase.

Ok here we go, when restoring this original 1968 L79 car the ONLY reason I painted it Cordovan Maroon was because that happened to be the color it was born, now I know there are plenty of Maroon fans out there but truth be told it is the LAST color I would ever pick. There are lots of posts that talk about the importance of original color vs the color you actually want your car to be - so, my simple take away from this experience? if matching numbers are important to you start with a car that has a color you prefer!

Saw this one in the shop the other day. Hardtop convertible. Original L89 under the hood. Anyone out there who would not want to own it because it is maroon? I didn't think so.....
