Is that the car they are showing them in on their promotional ads? The 2 of them arrive like rock stars.

Yes. That is the first episode series 13 Corvette they are showing on the Promos for Wheeler Dealers that airs June 29th Wednesday 9pm on The Velocity Channel.

I am also the lucky new owner of that car.

I cannot wait to see Edd transform what gem Mike found into what looks brand new and drives even better than when it was new. I had a nice cruise in her down PCH for lunch in Laguna Beach today. It is truly special.

I won't be able to sleep this week.

Congratulations I will be watching. Ed is a terrific mechanic. You have some great roads out there. I've driven that PCH. Beautiful.

Their buyer fell through and the were desperate to sell it so they could complete filming.

I saw an ad on CL for a Sunbeam Alpine and it mentioned the show so I went to have a look and saw the Corvette.

It seems these old cars each have their own stories attached to them. That is a REALLY good one!
I know a lot of those shows crank through rebuilds to meet a deadline, but it seems like ED actually rebuilds them properly.
Congrats!

So the buyer "Mark" backed out along with the mystery Italian buyer?

Did they get all the dirt and dust off the car after beating on it on the slalom course?

Nice car, congrats, I hope you enjoy it.

$26k for a NOM SB isn't what we often hear of though not outrageous IMO. Seems the NOM status wasn't an issue? Enjoy the car.

Except that the car did not sell to those two TV "buyers" for the 26k offer. so maybe it became an issue. If they were desperate to sell hopefully Safecents paid a more sensible price.
