? on correct windshield wiper color paint on a 70
I seem to recall a close match is John Deere black but can`t remember if that is the complete and correct name.

I believe the paint you're referring to is often called John Deere Blitz Black.
Not to rock the boat but I don't think the arms were PAINTED black…. I believe they were PLATED…black chromium.
This is a pretty obscure detail that matters almost not at all since semi-flat black paint is just fine for most people.

On close inspection it doesn't look like paint.

On close inspection it doesn't look like paint.
I'm currently trying to find the blade refills to fit my blades, the ones at NAPA were too narrow.
