O-rings without a doubt. And MAKE SURE that when you go an put on the O-ring...that you do it AFTER you have compressed the spring assembly and while holding it DOWN you slide the O-ring onto the valve stem....then put the keepers in and relase the pressure all the way. And that is also making sure you use that plastic tube that goes down on the top of the valve stem also to make installing the O-ring easier.
You DO NOT want to put the O-ring on the valve stem and then slide the valve spring upper cap on...because it will push the O-ring off and down the stem..and it makes it USELESS.
Sometimes finding an umbrella seal that will work is also a bit of fun...due to the head is often times NOT machined for them as like the heads that are.
You would be shocked on how many Corvetes I have doen that JUST HAD valve seals installed..and when I took them apart...the person who did it...installed the O-ring and did not use the correct procedure....and the O-rings were way down on the valve stem.

I've used the "slip on the top of the guide" seals, but it is necessary to remove one of the valve springs to measure the diameter of the guide, before ordering. And as mentioned use the original "o" type seal that goes on the valve stem below the keeper.

I wrote an article on how to change valve seals and what seals I used.
It has a lot of illustrations.
If anyone wants a copy give me your email address.
