Default Took the '73 to a show...had a "crappy" day!

I took my '73 to a small car show hosted by Fletcher Christian Church this morning. It was a beautiful morning for a car show! Unfortunately, a pterodactyl must have flown over my Corvette at some point. I'm not exaggerating when I say it got the T-Top, the windshield, the engine compartment, and the passenger seat! The good news is that it didn't keep me from placing "Turd" overall!

At least it was only from a bird. One of my last times out in my 73 I found a horse pile and tracked that back with me home. The car needed an immediate wash.

Great that you received an award but congratulations to you for being able to laugh that "crappy" incident off.

Bird poop on your head brings good luck! If you had the T-tops off you could have won First!
Congrats!

I was trying to figure out why my street smelled so bad until I got out of the car admd saw the aftermath. It was not pretty. Unfortunate side effect of living a few blocks from the county fairgrounds lol.

My first day at the police academy, during our first uniform inspection, an overflying bird crapped on my tie and uniform shirt. Oh Yah, I did pushups and wrote reports on that for what seemed like a decade. No I did not receive a trophy... Congrats, beautiful "73.

My wife never saw good luck from her event . We went to a carnival years ago and she got all dolled up for the occasion . We walked in and in less than three minutes she ducked down and grabbed her head . Yep there was a big pile on her head and needless to say she was not in a good mood and wanted to leave.

They are just tension rods from WalMart. Much better for show use when it's windy. Less stress on the single factory hood prop. I just toss them in back when I'm not using them.
